SAVILLS / HEADQUARTERS / MADRID

When Savills Real Estate Consulting asked us to design their new offices located in a nineteenth century building, in the centre of Madrid, we started by analyzing their London headquarters.
We adopted their colour palette (bright greys, sand tones and deep browns) and introduced punches of the corporate image´s bold yellow in the artwork (printed film on aluminium) for the reception area, meeting rooms and the office of the president. Textiles in similar hues were employed in the Japanese curtains to bring more warmth to these sleek interiors.
Curiously, one of SAVILLS´ special requests was to have a kitchen in each of the meeting rooms. We responded by placing a cabinet in a recessed wall that made it look like part of the office environment.
Finally, at the entrance, we worked with just one material, KRION, which transmits purity and high quality. For the front reception desk, we played with an extrusion of basic shapes (rectangles) / we played with the morphology of the corporate logo and created a monolithic piece that acts as a sculpture.
